THE STORY OF INTERSTATE WOODWORKS
As a woodworking enthusiast I have used hundreds of different wood finishes over the years. There are a lot of good products out there. I have always enjoyed making cutting boards and I purchased several different food safe finishes. But I couldn’t find one I liked. I wanted something that was easy to apply with good penetration, dried quickly, feels silky smooth and leaves a nice sheen. I started experimenting with different blends of oils and beeswax. After numerous attempts I came up with a perfect combination. I have used my Beeswax Paste on many different woodworking projects and I have always been pleased with the results. I gave Beeswax Paste to friends and they all loved it and told me I should start selling it. So I started Interstate Woodworks in my kitchen and that’s how this all began.
